Place-based assets are assets with spatial and ecological attributes.

Green crypto consists of place-based assets. Those assets tend to need costly monitoring, reporting, and verification (dMRV), limiting scalability despite their real-world utility vis-à-vis virtual tokens.

Examples of virtual vs. place-based assets

Regen Atlas aims to aggregate the entirety of green crypto assets. We aim for innovation in how we leverage those place-based assets by going for a location-based interface that's absolutely central to the platform.
